The behavior shown in these notes is also shown in some textbooks,
for example in Fig. 7.1 on p. 343 of Lienhard and
Lienhard's book. The situation in Part 2 of these notes is
converging flow which is a different situation than the entrance
boundary condition of uniform flow in Part 1.
